Block House Pond Run 2018
Star of the Sea Council co-sponsored the annual "Block House Pond Run" on May 11th at the Consortium School in Lewes. The school serves over 140 students; its sister school in Georgetown serves another 100 youth.
The “Pond Run” is an annual extracurricular track event for all physically and cognitively challenged youth in Sussex County. About 200 youths participated.

Your Knights donated $1500 in support of the event, enabling distribution of free event T-shirts and ribbons, and other event needs; Knights also served as “course monitors” and "cheerleaders" to ensure that participants stay on the path around Gordon's Pond and served free hot dogs, chips and water to all in attendance, about 400 people. Many Knights and their wives helped make this event a great success.
