​​We had a great success today after a week of uncertainty. Last Tuesday it looked bleak for the breakfast as the stove and convection oven were not working. Plus we had the weather forecast. On Wednesday the convection oven got fixed so we had a ray of sunshine. But on Friday the word came that the stove/oven were not fixed and we shouldn't use the stove top burners. Ugh! So we bought a 2 burner hot plate thing and the potatoes got boiled at my house. Yesterday morning while setting up we confirmed the convection oven was good and decided then in the words of Clint Eastwood, "to improvise, adapt and overcome". So we took a shot and lit the pilots for the stove's burners and voila they worked. So today with minimal hassle the kitchen crew performed their usual stellar work and we had a breakfast. We served 133 breakfasts,
