Breakfast with Santa December 10, 2023

We hit a Home Run on Sunday, December 10th. We served 206 people today including paying customers, Knights, and kids. This was the biggest breakfast ever surpassing the Breakfast with Santa in 2021. The number of those who paid was 166. Santa did a great job in bringing parents and kids down after class today and this helped rock the house.

We served 75 omelets; 15 orders of French Toast and 18 breakfast sandwiches. If we hadn't run out of things late the special order totals would have been higher. Roy and George saved the day as they pumped out lots of pancakes and waffles to satisfy the crowds.

Everyone did Yeoman's work but special thanks to Fred Armstrong who subbed in late for Joe Cumella on the sales desk. Not an easy day to learn the sales ropes. Also big kudos to Mark Lindell and his wife who donated 2 loaves of pumpkin rolls which captivated the customers when we were running out of other treats and to Mark Lindell again for doing the egg run (donated again) which kept us in business after the 10:30 Mass.
