McGivney, the Brothers of Star of the Sea Council are taking a more active and visible role in support of individuals and families during the most important events in the life of the domestic church: the sacraments.

The Council is working with our Pastor and Chaplain Father Cocco, together with the parish Director of Religious Education Marie Kopf. In collaboration, we are expanding the coverage of our program to reach out to all of the children who are enrolled in faith formation through the 9th grade, in addition to Baptism, RCIA and Marriage.
Star of the Sea wants to have a presence in support parish members and families at these essential moments of encounter with Christ. As children and adult members become more integrated into the life of the church and their parish, they should know that members of the Knights of Columbus will be present in a tangible and meaningful way.
There are delays because of the pandemic in this expanded program which will enable presentation of the following to our young people participating in faith formation:
